This piece has been a journey to create, and one that every time I sing brings new things to my attention, new challenges and inspiration to my life. New meaning.

At this time, I sing it in strength and solidarity with all those on the ground opposing continued corporate colonization of the land, water, air, and our human and animal communities. ALL profits made from this track will go directly to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe efforts to permanently halt construction of the illegal and utterly disastrous Dakota Access Pipeline.

I want to clarify a lyric: In the second verse, I say "As we integrate solutions, join peaceful revolutions...".

To be clear, the lyric "join peaceful revolutions" does not invalidate the many struggles and resistance movements which have at times used direct action or clashes with equipment or property to stand up and communicate. For example, the Black Lives Matter protests in Baltimore and Charlotte, which strongly and unequivocally demanded justice and answers. Their voices should continue to be heard, and as a privilege holder in this American society, I will continue to listen when confronted with anger.
